Wild Ones, My Body

Here's what the Mississippi Rising Email had to say:
WILD ONES have been taking Portland by storm, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. They created a buzz with a few leaked tracks and questions of origin, and a much-anticipated live show proved to be a wonder of awe-inducing chillwave pop. Formed in 2010, Wild Ones are Thomas Himes, Danielle Sullivan (former frontwoman for Eskimo & Sons), Clayton Knapp and Andy Parker, a foursome of talent whose songs are a full of killer rhythms, gorgeous vocals, and addictive synths. And with just enough soul to bust you out of any old winter blues, this is a band that screams cool. Portland's MY BODY is the project of Jordan Bagnall, (formerly of Doubledutch and Typhoon) and Darren Bridenbeck (40 Hundred Thousand Locked-Up Guns and What Can Skulls Tell Us?). The twosome spent six months crafting news songs, resulting in exquisite tracks of synth pop. You can take a sneak peak here: http://soundcloud.com/my-body
